Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, athletic fields, and landscaping to ensure a safe and clean environment for the public.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational equipment for community events, sports games, and programs.
- Interact with the public, answering questions and providing exceptional customer service.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including light repair, cleaning, trash removal, and snow removal.
- Monitor park areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and park policies.
- Operate and maintain landscaping and maintenance equipment, including mowers and trimmers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and general maintenance practices is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Strong commitment to public service and community engagement.
