Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, trails, and recreational facilities using provided equipment
- Organize and supervise community events, sports leagues, and youth programs
- Operate and care for city-provided maintenance tools and activity supplies
- Enforce safety protocols during facility usage and outdoor activities
- Assist in facility inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support volunteer coordination and community engagement initiatives
- Perform seasonal park setup and teardown for special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to operate provided equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.) safely
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in recreation programs or facility maintenance preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
