Responsibilities
- Maintain park cleanliness and safety through routine inspections and litter removal
- Operate and maintain recreational facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking paths
- Assist with setup, supervision, and breakdown of community events and programs
- Perform basic landscaping duties including planting, watering, and seasonal upkeep
- Monitor park usage and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Interact professionally with park visitors and provide information about facilities
- Support seasonal beautification projects and special initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age with valid Louisiana driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping tools and equipment
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred
