Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including mowing, trimming, litter removal, and irrigation checks
- Assist with setup and breakdown of community events, festivals, and recreational activities
- Perform routine facility maintenance including restroom cleaning, equipment inspections, and minor repairs
- Support youth and adult recreation programs as directed by supervisory staff
- Operate park maintenance equipment safely and efficiently after proper training
- Interact with park visitors providing information and ensuring a positive experience
- Complete daily maintenance logs and report safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina for tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Basic communication skills for visitor interactions
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
