We are currently seeking a reliable and energetic Parks and Recreation Worker to join our Parks, Recreation, and Community Services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our parks, pools, and recreational facilities for residents to enjoy.

As a key member of our team, you will ensure our facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Perform general landscaping maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering of park grounds, athletic fields, and greenways.
- Maintain and repair park infrastructure, including fences, benches, playground equipment, and trails.
- Set up and dismantle equipment for community events, sports games, and recreational activities.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, picnic areas, and concession stands.
- Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of aquatic facilities and pools as required.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards, report maintenance needs, and enforce park rules and regulations.
- Operate heavy and light machinery, including mowers, tractors, and dump trucks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment operation, and safety protocols is highly preferred.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
