Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of parks, trails, and recreational facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Maintain athletic fields, playground equipment, and landscaping areas using manual and powered tools.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports tournaments.
- Monitor park facilities to enforce rules, respond to visitor inquiries, and report safety hazards.
- Operate and maintain light vehicles, mowers, and other park equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Basic knowledge of gardening, landscaping, or facility maintenance is preferred.
- Strong commitment to customer service and public safety.
