Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of community events, festivals, and sporting events.
- Maintain athletic fields, landscaping, irrigation systems, and green spaces under supervision.
- Interact professionally with citizens, visitors, and other city employees while enforcing park rules and regulations.
- Operate and maintain light landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards and report maintenance needs or code violations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, standing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging work orders or attendance.
- Strong commitment to customer service and public safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
