Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic fields, and equipment
- Plan, coordinate, and lead recreational programs for diverse age groups
- Enforce park safety regulations and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with special events, festivals, and community outreach activities
- Perform light maintenance duties including landscaping and facility upkeep
- Collaborate with team members to ensure park cleanliness and accessibility
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in parks, recreation, or customer service role
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse environments
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance procedures and safety protocols
