Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, athletic courts, and green spaces
- Assist with event setup, supervision, and breakdown for community programs
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain clean, accessible environments
- Support seasonal programs like youth sports and outdoor fitness classes
- Collaborate with team members on park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in customer service or event coordination preferred
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
