Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking trails
- Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Assist with event setup/breakdown for community festivals and activities
- Monitor park usage and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repair requests
- Interact positively with park visitors and provide information
- Participate in seasonal beautification projects (planting, cleanup)
- Maintain accurate logs of park activities and maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Experience with landscaping equipment or grounds maintenance preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of park safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
