Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including landscaping, litter removal, and facility upkeep
- Set up/break down equipment for events, sports leagues, and community programs
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and event participants
- Monitor park safety conditions and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with special events, festivals, and recreational programming
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers) with proper training
- Collaborate with full-time staff on seasonal projects and park improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous parks, maintenance, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
