Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens inquiring about city services, permits, and programs.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems to ensure records are easily retrievable.
- Process data entry tasks and update internal databases with current information.
- Support special events and city programs as assigned by the department head.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or government office setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Reliable transportation is required for this position.
