Responsibilities
- Manage departmental correspondence, records, and filing systems
- Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
- Process travel arrangements and expense reports for staff
- Respond to public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Prepare routine reports, presentations, and communications materials
- Maintain digital databases and document management systems
- Coordinate office inventory and supply management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years of administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Texas government operations preferred
