Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department personnel.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records.
- Assist visitors with directions and provide general information regarding state services.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute internal memos and official correspondence.
- Assist in the organization and filing of confidential government documents.
- Support the administrative team with special projects and event coordination.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict government compliance standards.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends if necessary.
