Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming correspondence, emails, and telephone inquiries regarding government schemes.
- Process applications and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records and databases in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and briefing materials for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Provide excellent, empathetic support to members of the public during office hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a public sector or government-related environment.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or database systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Ability to work flexibly and adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
- Full UK right to work is essential.
