Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, copying, and scanning confidential documents.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and redirect them to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Assist visitors and citizens with inquiries regarding city services, permits, and procedures.
- Update and maintain accurate records in both digital filing systems and physical archives.
- Prepare, format, and distribute correspondence, memos, and departmental reports.
- Assist with data entry tasks using Microsoft Office Suite and government databases.
- Support the administrative staff with special projects and daily office operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
