Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet visitors and provide accurate information regarding department services and procedures.
- Document Management: Receive, sort, and file documents; ensure records are maintained in accordance with state regulations.
- Data Entry: Input and update information into state databases and management systems with high accuracy.
- Communication: Answer telephone inquiries and route calls to appropriate personnel or take detailed messages.
- Office Support: Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and preparing reports.
- Compliance: Adhere to all state safety protocols and confidentiality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic record-keeping systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public and staff.
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
