Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for departmental operations including document processing and record management
- Assist with public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and event logistics for departmental staff
- Maintain accurate databases and filing systems in compliance with government protocols
- Prepare routine reports, correspondence, and official communications
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes as assigned
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of public sector procedures is beneficial
- Must pass background check and drug screening
