Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to departmental teams including scheduling, document preparation, and records management
- Manage correspondence, communications, and public inquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Utilize county databases and software systems for data entry, reporting, and information retrieval
- Coordinate meetings, events, and logistics for departmental functions
- Assist with budget tracking, procurement processes, and expense documentation
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems in compliance with county policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and project execution
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license (if travel between sites required)
