Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit documentation with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate scheduling and correspondence for department leadership
- Utilize federal systems (e.g., VA VISTA, eBenefits) for data management
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence in compliance with federal guidelines
- Provide frontline support to veterans and their families
- Assist with records management and FOIA requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience in federal/government setting preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
