Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with precision and compliance
- Manage electronic records using VA-specific systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and meetings
- Prepare correspondence and reports following federal guidelines
- Assist veterans with inquiries regarding benefits and services
- Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and digital)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship (required for federal employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of VA regulations (FTR, 38 CFR) preferred
- Valid California Driver's License (if travel required)
