Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person correspondence in a professional manner.
- Perform accurate data entry and document management for state records and databases.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, prepare agendas, and take detailed minutes for departmental meetings.
- Assist senior staff with logistics, travel arrangements, and filing systems.
- Monitor office supplies and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adhere to state government policies and procedures.
