Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement initiatives across San Antonio districts
- Organize public meetings and informational events to share city programs
- Collect resident feedback through surveys and direct outreach
- Maintain accurate records of community interactions and service requests
- Collaborate with city departments to align outreach strategies
- Prepare monthly progress reports for leadership review
- Represent the city at community festivals and neighborhood gatherings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred in Public Admin/Communications)
- 1+ years experience in community outreach or public relations
- Strong bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and data collection tools
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Knowledge of San Antonio neighborhoods and demographics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
