Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach in designated neighborhoods to identify resident needs
- Facilitate enrollment assistance for SNAP, WIC, and other social services
- Coordinate with local non-profits and faith-based organizations for resource referrals
- Maintain accurate case documentation and reporting in city databases
- Organize quarterly community resource fairs at city facilities
- Participate in cross-departmental task force meetings for policy feedback
- Support multilingual outreach initiatives (Spanish preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in community engagement or social services
- Valid Maryland driver's license with reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
