Responsibilities
- Develop and execute culturally tailored outreach plans for underserved LA communities
- Organize and facilitate bilingual health education workshops and community forums
- Collect and analyze community health data through surveys and focus groups
- Coordinate with local organizations to expand program accessibility
- Document outreach activities and maintain stakeholder relationship databases
- Support emergency response communications during public health crises
- Prepare monthly impact reports with measurable outcomes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (other languages valued)
- Minimum 1 year community outreach or public service experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection tools
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Background clearance through County employment process
