Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake interviews with clients to assess eligibility for state programs.
- Assist applicants in completing and submitting required documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and facilitate community outreach events to raise awareness about available services.
- Maintain precise and confidential records in both electronic and physical filing systems.
- Collaborate with local agencies and community organizations to coordinate resources for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear guidance to program participants.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, social services, or government administration is preferred.
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management systems.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and confidentiality.
