Responsibilities
- Process vehicle registrations, title applications, and driver's license transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide clear guidance on state DMV regulations, documentation requirements, and fees
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding emissions testing, insurance verification, and vehicle titling
- Maintain organized records using DMIT systems while ensuring compliance with state protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and third-party vendors for document verification
- Process payments and issue temporary permits/renewals using POS systems
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards for customer PII and transaction data
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Minimum 1 year customer service or cash handling experience
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn proprietary DMIT software
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprint clearance
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class D or higher)
- Exceptional communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish highly valued)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 15 lbs occasionally
