Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy using VA systems
- Coordinate scheduling for 15+ department meetings and appointments
- Manage confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Prepare official correspondence and reports using Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist veterans and families with benefit inquiries via phone/email
- Support special projects for Veteran Service Officers
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal law)
- High school diploma + 2 years admin experience OR Associate's degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Experience with case management systems preferred
- Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
