Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage confidential records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and veteran families
- Prepare correspondence using federal formatting standards
- Support outreach events for veteran services
- Utilize VA-specific software systems daily
- Maintain organized filing systems for veteran records
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain federal background clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of veteran affairs preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly
- Detail-oriented with organizational skills
