Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, and record management
- Assist veterans and their families with benefit inquiries and application processes
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems in compliance with federal protocols
- Coordinate office operations including supply inventory and equipment maintenance
- Support team members with data entry and document preparation tasks
- Facilitate communication between departments and external stakeholders
- Participate in regular training to stay updated on federal regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background clearance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
