Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with precision and compliance to federal regulations
- Manage electronic records using VA systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Coordinate communication between veterans, medical staff, and external partners
- Prepare official correspondence and reports following federal formatting standards
- Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks for veteran outreach events
- Maintain strict confidentiality of veteran health information (HIPAA compliance)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to pass federal background check and credit verification
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with federal records management preferred
