Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy using VA systems
- Coordinate with federal/state agencies for seamless service delivery
- Manage confidential veteran records under strict HIPAA/FERPA compliance
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Support outreach initiatives for underserved veteran populations
- Generate monthly performance reports using Excel and VA databases
- Assist with veteran enrollment in healthcare and education programs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative/clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of veteran benefits systems (VA training provided)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
