Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming correspondence, draft memos, and prepare reports in accordance with federal standards.
- Record Management: Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring sensitive information is classified and stored securely.
- Timekeeping & Payroll: Accurately record work hours and submit timecards weekly for processing.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes for internal staff and stakeholder briefings.
- Customer Service: Greet visitors and provide accurate information regarding federal services and office procedures.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of documentation required for background checks and security clearances.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government, legal, or corporate environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with federal filing systems.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Schedule: Availability to work a part-time schedule (20-30 hours per week), including some flexibility for remote work options.
