Responsibilities
- Manage veteran records and correspondence with strict adherence to federal regulations and privacy laws
- Process administrative paperwork including benefits applications, forms, and documentation
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and communications with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain digital filing systems and databases ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Assist in preparing reports, briefings, and official communications for leadership review
- Provide frontline support to veterans and their families via phone and in-person inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience with federal/government exposure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass federal background check and security clearance
- Experience with veteran affairs systems (e.g., VISTA, VBMS) highly desirable
