Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate federal filing systems and records in compliance with strict government regulations.
- Process incoming mail, emails, and faxes, prioritizing urgent federal communications.
- Prepare and review routine federal correspondence, reports, and memos for accuracy and clarity.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for federal personnel.
- Provide direct customer service support to veterans and agency stakeholders via phone and in-person.
- Ensure the secure handling of sensitive personal and financial data.
Qualifications:
- United States Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Familiarity with federal government processes and regulations is a strong plus.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust or Secret clearance (if required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
