Responsibilities
- Manage veterans' benefit applications with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve service-related inquiries
- Maintain digital records using VA-specific databases (VBA, VISTA)
- Assist in scheduling veteran outreach events across Northern California
- Prepare correspondence and reports compliant with federal regulations
- Support data analysis for veteran benefit program improvements
- Train volunteers on veteran service protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal mandate)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of federal records management (FEMA, NARA standards)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
