Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face and telephone interviews to gather necessary information for benefit determination.
- Analyze complex eligibility requirements and apply them to individual cases accurately.
- Prepare, process, and maintain confidential case files and documentation in accordance with federal regulations.
- Communicate complex Social Security policies and decisions clearly and empathetically to applicants.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a background investigation and fingerprint check.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
