Responsibilities
- Process and verify citizen applications for Social Security benefits with 99% accuracy
- Manage confidential case files and maintain electronic/digital records in compliance with federal protocols
- Respond to public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding benefit eligibility
- Prepare routine correspondence and administrative documents using MS Office Suite
- Assist with data entry and quality control for federal databases
- Support office operations including scheduling, filing, and document management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal mandate)
- High school diploma or GED with 1+ years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check and credit verification
- Strong attention to detail with data entry accuracy of 98%+
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with customer service in a professional setting preferred
