Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate veteran medical records using VA systems
- Handle sensitive documentation with strict HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate scheduling and communications with healthcare providers
- Assist veterans with benefit inquiries and paperwork submission
- Manage digital filing systems and document retrieval processes
- Support departmental reporting and data analysis tasks
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position mandate)
- Minimum 1 year administrative/clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records systems preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly with flexible scheduling
