Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with federal healthcare regulations (VA directives, HIPAA)
- Audit documentation and processes for adherence to 38 CFR standards
- Coordinate corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Prepare compliance reports for regional leadership review
- Train staff on regulatory updates and best practices
- Liaise with OIG auditors during program evaluations
- Maintain electronic compliance tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Compliance, or related field
- 2+ years of federal compliance experience preferred
- Proficiency in VA-specific regulations (38 CFR)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current federal security clearance or ability to obtain
- Experience with compliance management software
