Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Assist in the review, processing, and filing of federal contract documents and amendments.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contract deliverables adhere to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards and internal policies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical records of all federal contracts and correspondence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding contract status and document requests.
- Bid Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals and bid responses for upcoming federal contracting opportunities.
- Reporting: Generate weekly reports on contract milestones and outstanding deliverables.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in federal contracting, government administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with contract management software (e.g., Ariba, SAP Concur).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal government procurement processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive environments.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, with flexible hours including some potential evening or weekend shifts.
