Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate federal datasets to ensure high data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform complex data analysis using statistical methods and advanced tools to identify trends and anomalies.
- Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI for stakeholder reporting.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, briefings, and presentations for government leadership.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, security protocols (e.g., FISMA), and data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize reporting processes.
- Assist in the migration and management of legacy data systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Federal or Government sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and extraction; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with federal data standards, compliance requirements, and security clearance processes.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
