Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and compliance opportunities
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and visualization tools
- Ensure adherence to federal data governance standards (FISMA, OMB guidelines)
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to define data requirements and deliverables
- Perform statistical analysis and quality assurance on federal reporting datasets
- Document data processes and maintain metadata repositories
- Support ad-hoc requests from federal partners during critical reporting cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with federal or government data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI for federal compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Certification in data analytics or federal compliance preferred
- Ability to work 20 hours/week with flexible scheduling
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
