- Analyze and interpret federal datasets to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards using SQL and visualization tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for federal projects
- Prepare detailed documentation for audit trails and regulatory submissions
- Identify trends and anomalies in federal spending, demographic, or program data
- Support ad-hoc analysis for policy evaluation and program assessment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with federal data systems (e.g., USAspending.gov, FedStats)
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one visualization tool (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
