Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets to support homeland security operations
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for leadership reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on data integration projects
- Prepare monthly performance metrics for congressional briefings
- Document analytical methodologies and data lineage
- Participate in emergency response data analysis drills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R
- Active U.S. government security clearance or ability to obtain
- Familiarity with federal data reporting requirements
- Experience with large-scale database systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Strong written communication skills for technical audiences
