Responsibilities
- Process and verify veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate with community partners to support veteran outreach initiatives
- Maintain confidential case files and ensure HIPAA/GSA compliance
- Conduct eligibility screenings for federal assistance programs
- Assist veterans with benefit enrollment via VA systems (e.g., VBA, VHA)
- Generate monthly performance reports using Excel and VA databases
- Support veteran events and community engagement activities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (Miami market requirement)
- Experience with federal grant programs or benefits systems
- Strong attention to detail and data verification skills
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional travel
