Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize veteran medical records in compliance with federal regulations
- Process incoming/outgoing correspondence and documentation
- Assist veterans and families with record requests and inquiries
- Utilize VA systems for data entry and record retrieval
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate documentation
- Support audits and compliance reviews as assigned
- Adhere to HIPAA and federal privacy standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
