Responsibilities
- Classify, catalog, and digitize veteran records according to NARA standards
- Verify document integrity and maintain audit trails
- Respond to Freedom of Information Act requests
- Train staff on records management procedures
- Coordinate with regional VA offices for document transfers
- Implement security protocols for sensitive veteran data
- Generate monthly compliance reports
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Records Management or related field
- Minimum 2 years federal records experience
- Proficiency in DoD 5015.2-STD compliant systems
- Active security clearance eligibility
- Familiarity with FOIA regulations
- Certified Federal Records Manager (CFRM) preferred
- Ability to lift 20 lbs for archival materials
