Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone and email regarding state regulations, licensing, and public safety protocols with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation, formatting, and distribution of reports, memos, and correspondence for department leadership.
- Maintain and organize complex digital and physical filing systems to ensure the secure and timely retrieval of records.
- Coordinate scheduling for department meetings, community outreach events, and inter-agency collaboration sessions.
- Perform high-volume data entry tasks, ensuring strict data integrity and compliance with government standards.
- Support the general public in navigating state government resources, forms, and application processes.
- Assist in the organization of office supplies and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in administrative support, data entry, or customer service is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on public service.
