Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist the public and internal departments by answering phones, responding to inquiries, and providing information.
- Maintain accurate records and databases using city-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Monitor and secure facility access points, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Support special events and community programs by assisting with logistics, registration, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and meet departmental goals.
- Comply with all city policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an office or administrative environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with city policy.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on the specific role.
